Bellagios Pizza, Portland, Oregon Restaurant Details

I have ordered delivery here many times. After my first time trying this restaurant, I was in love. Even left them great reviews..Unfortunately, my great experiences were short lived. My most recent order (today) was, not the worst, but the MOST PATHETIC form of customer service I have ever gotten. I ordered a Salad with Chicken and extra ranch. Chicken and Extra Ranch cost extra. That's fine. They usually call and get my card info for that after.

So the last few times I've ordered, they've been very very late (like 1.5 - 2 hours after ordering), so this time, I notated that I want it asap to see if it would speed it up. Well, it did. I was impressed. Approached the delivery man with a smile and complimented how quick they were. He rudely raised his eyebrows with a straight (almost pissed off) face and said "That's what you put on there, isn't it"

He hands me the receipt to sign and says "Now my $2 tip please". I responded saying that I already paid the tip online. He says "No thats impossible, you will have to pay my Tip in cash". I let him know I had no cash for his tip. He told me I am going to have to contact the store to pay him.

Well, the owner contacted me and basically called me a liar by saying "Well, he says he told you it was for extra charges, so I'm going to need that" also saying "This seems like a he said she said kind of thing"

EXCUSE ME! I AM THE CUSTOMER. SHOWING THAT YOUR APPROACHING THIS AS A CHILDISH ARGUMENT IS GREATLY INSULTING! I KNOW WHAT HE SAID WHEN HE DELIVERED, WHY THE HELL WOULD I REFUSE TO PAY FOR EXTRA ITEMS I REQUESTED???????? YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO SUPPORT THE CUSTOMER. WHEN SHE CALLED SHE NEVER ASKED FOR MY SIDE OF THE STORY, SHE JUST KEPT BLABBING. I HAD TO INTERRUPT HER AND ASK IF SHE IS AT ALL INTERESTED IN HEARING THE CUSTOMERS SIDE OF THE STORY, (THE OWNER), RESPONDS WITH "GO AHEAD THEN"

NO WONDER WHY YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE GRUMPY A-HOLES, BECAUSE YOUR A SNOBBY RUDE B...

I WORKED IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY AND YOU SHOULD NEVER ACT LIKE THAT TO A CUSTOMER.

IF YOU WOULD HAVE JUST BEGAN THE CALL WITH AN APOLOGY FOR THE CONFUSION AND MISCOMMUNICATION, I WOULD HAVE HAPPILY PAID THAT 2 BUCKS.

BUT BEGINNING THE CALL POINTING A FINGER AT ME IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. ESPECIALLY AS THE OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT. YOU NEED A VACA ASAP

An hour and forty five minutes after placing an order for delivery of a single pizza on a Sunday evening I was informed that the store couldn't find my phoned in order, which was quickly followed up with "oh we just found it, it is headed out the door right now. It will be at your house in a few minutes."

I live approximately 5 minutes from the store and yet it took another 23 minutes for the pizza to arrive. If you're going to lose or forget or misplace an order, take responsibility for the mistake. Do not say it is on its way out the door if you have not yet made it.

It is unreasonable for a pizza order to take two hours and twelve minutes, especially after being told initially it was to be about an hour "or sooner if possible."

Sorry Bellagios, I'm fed up with the repeatedly poor (delivery) service and will source my pizzas elsewhere in the future.

Food:

At our house Bellagios means "You worked really hard today and deserve a treat" or "Let's stay in Saturday night". Sometimes it means "Happy ___(fill in the blank) Day" Whatever the occasion Bellagios pizza always has our mouths watering and the dogs drooling before that first bite. After trying several different versions are go to pie is Half BBQ Chicken and Half Combo. Before Bellagios the dogs used to get most of the crust, now they are lucky to get any it is really good.
I have to add a thumbs up for delivery service. They usually arrive earlier than promised and the drivers are friendly and helpful.
Don't order with out-of-town guests it would just be cruel.

Food:

Pretty good pizza. Easily the best that delivers out here in the burbs of Portland. The prices recently went up but I guess that is just a sign of the times. Have never had a problem with delivery. The barbecue chicken is great, just make sure to add feta to it.

Food:

The pizza isn't bad, and they have some yummy simple options. Hot wings are... meh, kinda small. The grinders are AMAZING though! Great flavors on toasted bread.
