LOVE THE FOOD!!! But, every time I go I seem to have a problem with the service. One time I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we were treated very poorly and in a very racist manner. When we called the manager over, he didnt do anything about it.

Another time I went in with my boyfriend and we sat at the sushi bar because the dining area was crowed. The waitress brought it to my attention that they shorted me on my portion,and called the manager over but didn't tell him what was going on. When the manager came over to the table and as I was explaining to him what the problem was, he looked at me like I was an idiot and decided it would be fitting to talk to me in a demeaning manner, then sent over the Sushi chef to tell me I was in the wrong for complaining about the food portion, and tell me his life story! What happened to the customer is always right? I'm not paying $20 for a corner of food!

Benihana is good but I feel like it's over-priced.

The chef at the table did absolutely no tricks and had almost zero personality. I looked around and none of the chefs were doing anything besides just cooking. Service and food were good. Will never go back to the downtown location again.

02/20/2009, My family and I went there tonight, and was treated and a very racist manner! Just very poor service, and unbelievable racism from some of the employees, not all of them. The food was good, and the cook treated us very good.
