Decent food, but at their prices it should have been much better. I had the pulled pork plate, biscuit was hard & fries were cold. The pork was ok, drier than it should be for pulled. I enjoyed trying the different bbq sauces, a real plus. The fried corn was good but only a half ear. I left hungry. At the soup bar one soup was almost empty, never refilled, and what was left was old, dried out, which must be why no one ate the rest of it so it would be refilled. The kids popcorn shrimp was frozen which wasn't the worst for a kids meal, but 8.99?! Oh yeah, there was dessert included for the kids, a tiny portion of their version of "dirt" desert of chocolate pudding, gummi worms & cookie crumbs. Two adults & 2 kids dined on a pulled pork plate & 2 small sides with tea, soup & salad bar with water, kids popcorn shrimp & fries with drink, kids burger & fries with drink for a total just over $50 not including tip.

Fantastic food. The homemade bbq sauces were great, and really added a lot of variety to the plate. The spicy Mac & Cheese was a delicious side.

Wow..I'm surprised to see even one bad review on this place..why wife and I love bennits..we have visited other local mom and pop BBQ joints and they sucked...and some one said high price???what?? I get the sample plate that comes with the hog wings (I think that's what there called)...and the brisket bugger??? Come on..this place is the best...check out the Alamo too there great..can't please everyone..but don't knock the food cause it's not your style

Worst BBQ I've had in a while. They don't go for quality. The pork was decent, the ribs were tough and the brisket wasn't flavored. Overall, sweet home Alabama has better places
