Bent Creek Golf Course, Gatlinburg, Tennessee Restaurant Details

Incredible course. Challenging. Great scenery. Fairway and greens in great shape. The one who only gave it one star, must be expecting a Gusta everywhere he goes.

Absolutely the worst maintained course in all of East TN ... greens (in dry weather) are a lumpy green goo, unrecognizable as grass and completely unputtable. Several tee-grounds completely devoid of grass ... incorrect distances (when you could find them) posted ... crab grass and mud holes taking over fairways ... sprinklers leaking profusely, some directly onto the greens. The place looks abandoned and more suitable as a cow pasture.
BUT, on the "bright" side, we were charged an unexplained 15% fee on top of the advertised price ... if it was tax, it makes no sense in an area that has a max of less than 11%.
Don't bother with this place ... go to Sevierville Golf Club (top notch) instead.
