Benvenuto's Italian Grill, Madison, Wisconsin Restaurant Details

Food:

I've had dinner there twice in 3 months and the service was good, but both times the chicken parmigiano was burned black and they covered it with cheese to hide how burned it was. And the breast were half the size of my hand. I won't go back :(

Food:

Not even hunger could make this food appetizing! It was greasy and flavorless. The service was not great but at least the place was relatively clean.

I have been going to Benvenuto's since they opened and I use to enjoy it not just for the food and atmosphere but also largely because of their friendly staff. In the past year though they have fired or gotten rid of almost the entire original staff and they seem to keep raising their prices while the portion sizes seem to be shrinking. I am really bummed because I no longer care to go here.

A lot has recently changed here management wise. I seems for the better.

It's always been a good local place. The food and drink is good and they have a lot of options for a good price.

There is a lot of seating, the bar is separated from the main dinning area and also has a few booths and high top tables if you wish to sit in the bar.

The staff is friendly as well. It's definitely a well rounded restaurant.

Food:

Delicious calzones, and very large portions for very good prices. The staff were attentive, fast and very nice. The small serving sizes for deserts are also nice, to avoid being overwhelmed.
