Great German cuisine, and really good beer that reminded me of being back in Germany. I had the Dark and the Amber beers, good smooth flavor with a malty finish but not too sweet. They have a fusion take on cheese curds with wasabi, and it is delicious. A great way to experience Germany without leaving Chicago.

So pretty in the holidays, very nicely decorated. Food is very good and of course their beer and root beer is great. A Chicago classic!

I love my food. But my husband's wiener schnitzel. Was very dry and his potato pancake didn t taste great. He is pure German. I went here a lot as a kid till i move 48 years ago. The German feeling was gone. The waiters were not dress as nice.
