03/08/2010 11:17 pmA female server who worked at Berryhill was wrongly terminated for drinking a soda because her bloodsugar was low. She is a Type 1 Diabetic and the Manager fired her on the spot because she got a small amount of soda to drink to raise her bloodsugars! She had worked at Berryhill for the last 5 months and never missed any time; she had never been warned of any wrong-doings, and she had been a very good worker! All the Managers had praised her to the Owner, and was going to train her to be bar-back and possibly Bartender in the future. I cannot believe the Manager, who was actually drinking an alcoholic drink behind the bar while she worked, fired this server because of a small amount of soda to raise her bloodsugars!!! Evidently that liquor altered her (the Managers) good judgement. The server actually thought everyone at Berryhill was her "Great friends" (so I heard all the time) but you see how your friends act when crap happens. I hope you all suffer, and business is BAD. I only ate there once and the food was terrible! I can get better food and at lower prices than Berryhill! Ugh! And as long at DFW holds their meetings there I will not attend any meetings held at Berryhill! |

01/30/2010 9:18 amI have been eating at Berryhill for several years and was always very satisfied until last summer (2009). Since then they have fired everyone that made the restaurant special and now the service is absolutely terrible. Last week I walked in during lunch to order food to go and I stood at the bar for exactly 7 minutes without even a glance from the wait staff! It's hard to sell food if you don't ask what the customer would like to eat! |

09/14/2009 8:23 pmI took my coworker Vern here and he loves it! The fish tacos are out of this world and the salsa is the best thing since sliced bread. Vern said he wishes that there was more mexican food like this back home and would go there all the time while listening to Rush's "Moving Pictures" album. Go Wildcats! |

08/04/2008 1:52 pmOrdered 125.00 in takeout. Gave them a 6.00 tip for putting the take out order together. On the way out, two of the staff gave me a snide remark about the tip. I informed them they did not have to wait any tables or serve any drinks. The manager (or so he said he was) was not too much help. I made sure to tell everyone at the party (happened to be my birthday party) about the "quality" of service persons working there. Food was just "o.k". Definately not good enough to go through that again.. Too many other quality mexican restuarants in North Dallas that give great service! |
