11/15/2015 2:21 amI live quite near this place. I've driven by it for years to go to A different Indian restaurants near Minneapolis. One day I thought I would roll the dice and risk it and try this place and I am so happy I made the decision. Despite being located in a dumpy strip mall, the food is fantastic. I find the place charming and I'm always sad for the owners that it's not more busy. I have tried many things on the menu and never been disappointed. I've eaten at a number of other Indian restaurants around Minneapolis and this one is my favorite. The people there are very kind and helpful as well. |

10/04/2015 7:40 pmWe frequent about 6 Indian restaurants in the metro area. This is by far the best in the twin cities. We drive 35 minutes for the buffet because the food and service are so good. There's a big selection of vegetarian and meat options. Excellent flavor and spicy options; not typical for a Indian buffet. We couldn't recommend more. |

09/28/2015 8:56 pmMy husband and I went there last week and had the worst restaurant experience ever. First, the host did not welcome us at all, which I'm not holding against (not yet). Then the waiter came to our table and just said "hmm.." which was his indication for us to place the order. We ordered for their Veggie platter, a chai tea and iced tea. The iced tea that came had absolutely no taste, there was probably a hint of tea somewhere but it just tasted like ice-water. We called the waiter back in to let him know, and politely so...and we just got a reply "This is American Iced Tea". When I first heard him, I couldn't quite believe what he said and asked him again for which he repeated the same thing. The conversation became a squabble and he brought in hot tea and asked my husband to drink it. That was the point when I lost it and told him to take it away since we never ordered for regular hot tea and if he cant serve decently he can take them away. |
