09/03/2015 8:19 pmThis little family owned lunch spot is tiny and friendly. By tiny, I mean TINY! The interior has little room for lots of people but what I do like is that you can sit next to anyone while enjoying your meal. There is an outdoor area for those who want to watch as cars go back and forth on Central. There's more on their menu than just Philly cheese steak sandwiches. |

08/29/2015 4:50 pmI just visited Philadelphia for the first time 6 months ago and had my first true Philly Cheese Steak experience in the motherland. I was turned off by the thought of having cheese whiz on a sandwich but my girlfriend insisted that I try it. I'm sure glad I did because it's not an authentic Philly Cheese Steak with out whiz. After ordering our Cheese Steak at Best of Philly, I threw in "with whiz" to the lady behind the counter and she looked up and smiled at me like I knew what I was talking about. This place is amazing and we are so fortunate to have a little authentic taste of Philly right in our back yard. I won't have to return to Pennsylvania just for the Cheese Steak since we have the real deal right here in Phoenix at Best of Philly. |

07/02/2015 5:10 pmGreat cheesesteak. Normally Uncle Sams and Corleone's, the first half of a cheesesteak is mediocre and the second half is good once the grease and cheese have collected in the bun. The half sandwich I had at Best of Philly was amazing throughout. Delicious from the first bite and quality meat and cheese. The fries were good, nothing special about them. Tiny place with not much sitting room, but great sandwiches. |

04/21/2015 7:20 pmThe only reason that I'm not giving this review five stars is that in my personal opinion The steak salad didn't contain enough meat. However the meat was very tasty, Romain lettuce was fresh and crunchy and the oil vinegar dressing with a hint of oregano absolutely did it for me. |

01/28/2014 10:48 amIs it Pat's or Geno's... no. But, they do have whiz if you ask for it to make it as close to Philly as Phoenix can get. Meat is tender and the bread always seems fresh. I've also had Uncle Sams, which is good, but I like this better. |
