08/11/2015 12:24 pmIn my opinion, this hotel doesn't even get a star. The worst hotel i've ever seen. The front desk personel didn't even care about us. When we arrived, are keys to open the building door weren't working. The room, it was really dark and the coffee machine did not work! The only good thing was the bed. |

04/30/2015 3:35 amNO STARS!! Only Best Western I've ever stayed at in this whole country ( and I stay at A Lot, being a Diamond Elite Member ), that would not take my Rewards Card. Only because I use Corporate Lodging. Indian owned motel, smells of Curry upon entry into the lobby. Disgusting!! |

03/03/2015 11:32 amIn our room there was no iron and I called front desk and she was assisting I had a iron in my room. I said there was no iron someone must have token it... They were suppose to drop one off never came. I called the next morning all they told me they had none.... There was stains on the floor and the bed felt uneven. The runs felt run down. Would never stay there again. Also it's located in a bad area |

11/26/2014 11:34 amI feel as I read some of the reviews that one should consider how long ago those reviews may have been written. I have been staying here since April 2014 nearly every 5 weeks. I am accommodated with courtesy and respect each time I swing through the lobby, either for Breakfast or on my way back to the room after dinner. The odor that some folks pick up on is true, but I can tell they are doing the best possible job in trying to control this considering the historical relevance of this area. My rooms are always big, the bed and pillow are comfortable and the breakfast is the standard Best Western FREE breakfast. And lastly, it's Bakersfield. You just have to deal with how un-welcoming this city is. I walk through downtown from this hotel to dinner at least once or twice during my 3-day stays. The only upscale part of Bakersfield doesn't even have hotels, so just be in the mindset that "you're just passing through". I'm always thankful for how hard the staff tries. |
