Fantastic pizza unlike anywhere else. The dough and sauce, complete with diced tomatoes, is baked first and then a mountain of cold mozzarella is tossed on top.

FYI - You can PRE ask, on the phone, for Pizza (and extra cheese) double-baked and have it look and taste the normal way. The whole Betos thing is meant for eat-in, because if you do take-out, (you need to bake it for best taste).

Stopped in to get pizza after picking up car at the Firestone up the street...from the outside smelled wonderful. I did as recommended by the counter girl and got the cheese and topics placed raw on the cooked pizza so they could "cook" themselves in the box. OMG what an awful mess!! The cheese barely melted and the cheap pepperoni and canned mushrooms were still raw when I arrived home after about 20 minutes in a heated car. Plus the wax paper at the bottom of the box stuck to the bottom of the pizza, making for a complete mess! All the raving reviews strike me as the usual yinzer crowd that will praise what ever 'Burgh slop is put in front of them.

Some people love this style pizza some don't if you like crispy crust thin square pizza this is your place. The cheese that they use in the pizza is good and the sauce is chunky and delicious. I've never been to this establishment and had anyone be anything but genuinely friendly. For everyone referred here that wasn't told the cheese is put on the pizza after its cooked your an idiot. Yes, this is an adult lunchable. Its good quality cheese, great sauce and crispy square pizza crust. Get it appreciate it for what is and love it or hate it. I love It and get betos consistently. Thank you betos for making what I like consistently and for being genuine and friendly every time I'm there

This is definitely not your average pizza. Getting extra cheese is just ridiculous. The regular cheese is an awesome jaw dropping amount. It's good to ask for the cheese baked on.
