This is a restaurant that is dying in the midst of all the new scenes in short north. Most of these reviews are old, but I thought I would give it a whirl. I was not impressed with the cocktails. Nothing was prepared with fresh juices and tasted like drinks I would enjoy when I was in college at a late night bar. The food was average at best. I got the French onion soup to start. It was bland. I needed to add a ton of salt. As far as the baked top, there were a couple small croutons in this huge bowl with unmelted shredded cheese floating on top. I got the fried chicken for dinner w/the corn and mashed potatoes. The chicken came out raw the first time, I sent it back. They did a nice job correcting it and comping my bill. The sweet sauce was nothing special and the chicken was a chicken breast, not on the bone. The mashed potatoes almost had a taste like someone was smoking in the kitchen and the corn was actually pretty good. All in all, definitely a dying restaurant in this area. The interior was full of knick knacks that left the place looking less than desirable for cleanliness.

Bettys food is average at best sooo overrated. God forbid you complain the owner Liz will just tell you are clueless and you must hate woman. Then she will call the Dispatch and they will write a full page story about what a great business woman she is.I wish they would put as much thought into the food as they do the silly concepts and horrible decor.

I looooove Betty's. One of my favorite dining spots in the city! My favorite dish is their parmesan crusted pork loin. TWO pork chops smothered in Alfredo sauce and TWO scoops of mash potatoes - so good! The dining area is a little small and cramped and they don't take reservations so it's not uncommon to have to wait 20-30 minutes to get a seat. Usually not a problem since they are surrounded by some of the best boutique shoppes in central Ohio. Good cocktail selection and all of their appetizers are super yummy too!

There is so much great food to choose from, it's hard to walk out with at least two entrees, an app and a beer or two in ya. :). The wraps here are awesome, especially the Surly Girl Turkey Wrap. My next favorite entree is the Cajun Crab Pasta. Like cocktails, but like to reminisce about your childhood? Get the PB&J... peanut-infused vodka with grape vodka. Disturbingly good. Dessert... look no further than the Pumpkin Love, baby. Cobbler... pumpkin... once only a seasonal thing, now available year-round.

The food, atmosphere, and beer selection are good. Our service was not good as the server constantly made us feel like we weren't welcome and a burden. If you're looking for places to go, I suggest checking this place out but be prepared for the possibility of bad service. The price is a bit high as well.
