"Everything is made from scratch" even the pickles, at this bright North Loop gourmet deli where locally sourced ingredients go into the excellent sandwiches featuring freshly baked breads and meats smoked on-site; at night it serves bar bites, burgers and housemade sausages, plus beer and wine too.

Very delicious sandwiches with a comfortable atmosphere. Great location but parking was a hassle during lunch time. Nice options on the menu for everyone.

Not the most sanitary place. Watched a food prep worker drop a wrapped up sandwich on the floor and leave it there. After a few minutes, someone else picked it up and put it back on the food expo table. The food prep person picked it up (with gloves on) to check that the sandwith was ok and then continued to handle food on the prep line without changing gloves, knowing this sandwich had been on the floor. The sandwith was placed in a bag with other food for a take out order. This is not the first time I have seen something unsanitry occur at this establishment.

Ehhhh... I have gone to this place a few times because it is very close to where i work. The food is very hit or miss, the service is at best mediocre and at worst awkward, and the prices are ridiculous. The food: the asparagus sandwich is good, the chicken salad is bleh. For what you pay, the portions are small. And I can say with complete honesty that the cup of soup I bought from them is the actual worst soup I have ever bought from a restaurant. It was tasteless lukewarm brown water with chunks of over or undercooked tasteless vegetable matter bobbing depressingly in it. Skip this place. Coffee Corner or C McGees are closeby and a better bet if you're looking for good cheap deli/cafe fare.

The vegetarian burger is the best burger I have had to date. Food is very good quality and presented as such. People may complain about the small portions of the sides but they are unique, delicious and filling if you take the time to enjoy your food rather than stuff your face.

Sandwiches use the best ingredients and you can taste it. However, the brownies are the real reason I go. You must try the brownies, so thick! Had a stale rice krispie once and the manager noticed and gave us all a free macroon. Great service for a deli.
