It's kind of gone downhill. You don't even get silverware with you meal anymore. The last time I asked for a fork and the server was rude. He said I would have to go get one and pointed in the direction. I told him there were only plastic forks and I would like a metal one to eat my salad. He said if there were none out there I would have to use plastic. I got a metal fork but it took some doing. I realize that is nitpicking but since they don't chop the salads, it's hard to do that with plastic forks and knives and I'm still giving them 2 stars because the food is good but not as good. The time before I ordered a tuna salad and instead of mixed greens it was just lettuce. I asked if they had changed, no, they must be out. They don't try to please the customer like they did a year ago. The one on Campbell is totally opposite, they are doing great.

This is a great place to eat. They bake all of their bread and pastries in-house. The soups are made fresh daily and from scratch! They slice all the meats, cheese & veggies daily and all the dressings are made in-house. This is way more than your average bakery and it is definitely worth trying. They have a hectic lunch rush, and the menu is a bit overwhelming because of all the options. There are samples of their bread right when you walk through the entrance, which I love. There is a dining area inside, and additional seating outside on the patio. If you're worried about the heat there are misters around the patio and in the winter they turn on the heating units. You can call in your order for pick up, dine in, carry out, and they also have a catering menu.

I've tried the South By Southwest salad and the Paloma's Pavo sandwich which had a crusty-on-the-outside toasted bread that isn't too sweet. Their pastries look great too, haven't tried yet though!

Girlfriend and I ordered Reuben, Gespacho, and Caesar salad. Got salad order wrong. Which is not the end of the world, but went to ask them for correct salad. Counter people tried to convince me I ordered wrong, or that I would have to pay more money to correct order. Gave me the bum's rush. When I politely insisted on getting correct order, sullen sourfaced manager was called to counter, and didn't even make eye contact with me. Counter people then said they would correct the order. Totally begrudging and made me feel like I was just angling for free food. Finally brought correct food. Utterly bland and unremarkable. Had not been to location in ten years, was excited but my visit was nothing like it used to be. Will not be back.

Mady's madness and Brad's beef are consistently delicious. Family friendly, great desserts and bread!
