05/30/2015 7:54 amThe food was great! I had the chicken pot pie and daily soup special...could not ask for better! Since it was a Friday night, they had special entertainment. The music was quite lovely, "easy on the ears" to complement the dining experience. What a treat! This restaurant really deserves a 5 star review. Go see for yourself! |

09/13/2014 8:30 pmThe atmosphere was a plus, I'll give it that. My fiance ordered the fish and chips and I had the English banger sandwhich. We shared half of each entree. |

08/07/2014 7:45 pmThe first proper drinking I found in Charlotte. 20oz tap special every day and cocktails for true drinkers. Unfortunate proximity to train tracks, but it provides an exciting stumble home (I kid, I never went home). |

10/22/2013 4:10 pmAtmosphere is about what you would expect for a British Pub, not bad. We were a group of 3 for dinner on a Friday night about 9:00. Restaurant was only 1/3 to 1/2 full, so not busy at all. Dinner took over 40 minutes to arrive and my roast beef w/mashed potatoes came cold, the other two dinners were hot. Sent it back and it returned lukewarm. Told server I had lost my appetite and to take it off the bill, which she did. Server apologized, but no visit from manager or chef. Did I mention it wasn't busy? Overall taste of all three dinners was bland, bland, and bland. There are better places to blow $15 per entree in Southend, avoid this one if you're hungry. |

12/01/2011 9:26 pmI've only been here once and that was a lunchtime visit. The food was very good though the wait was almost 40 minutes after ordering --seemed a bit excessive being as we arrived at 11:30am and we were the only people in there; there were only 5 of us. |
