Food:

Have been a handful of times and each time was mediocre at best, but the last time proved to me that I will not be visiting again. Went out for a friends birthday and was denied entry because the man at the door did not believe my ID was me with also several forms of identification present. He then continued to let in a underage minor who clearly had a fake that said she was 26, along was being served underage. I was threatened I would be charged with trespassing soon after that. I have never been so disrespected for no reason at all, but I guess they're allowed to have this behavior due to it being a "private" establishment. Stay away unless you are underage and have your boobs hanging out with a fake, because they will believe that first. Raleigh Times and Lucky B's are recommended for going downtown.

Food:

Never sit outside when you visit this restaurant: there are too many junkies hanging around downtown and they sometimes come around and harass patrons that sit outside. Also, 2 different groups of motorcyclists came by with their loud bikes and parked directly in front of the restaurants - music blasting, engines growling. Lastly, the food was not gourmet... it was just fast food... on the level with Red Lobster. It was crappy - we spent $80 between four people for Red Lobster style food.

Food:

Got sandwich from here today. They where both great. Good size and a great price for what you get. I saw the dinners and appetizers people were eating and they were huge and looked very tasty. I will be back tommarrow fir dinner.

I had a lot of fun on my first visit! I thought the atmosphere was welcoming and lively. In addition, the live jazz music was a huge plus! I had the crab cakes which were fantastic. I will order that again on my next visit. I do not give it five stars because of the waitress. She was not very attentive and she seemed to be rushed, although I can understand why. It was busy (this was around 11pm); however, I felt rushed even after our food took so long to get to us. We asked her for the check because it was just taking too long, but in the end it was worth the wait. The crab cakes were phenomenal!

Will never come here again. If you are looking for a better bar scene check out Raleigh Times instead and if you are looking for a better meal go to Busy Bee. Terrible Service, male bartender was rude, and everything was over priced. Initially was one of the candidates for the rehearsal dinner for my upcoming wedding, but was able to decisively rule this option out.
