The chicken is good IF THEY HAVE ANY! Been there twice and they were out. How do have a chicken establishment and run out of chicken?? Poor management

The chicken here is fresh and super crispy! The seasoning on the chicken was spot on, but the chicken itself was kind of bland. The freshness made up for it. Pricing was reasonable for amount of food. The wait was really long despite only two cars ahead in drive-thru, the lady who took my order halfway grunted my total.. customer service and speed definitely lacking. Still recommend for the food.

After waiting an eternity to get to the window in what looks like an old Fox photo booth and then having to wait much longer while there, I notice a small decal that says cash only. I scrape up about $3.60 and have to order one of the cheaper items on the menu, a 2 piece dark with fries, listed on multiple menu boards their as $2.99. The lady at the window takes my order and says "that will be $3.75". I responded, "the sales tax here is under 10% and it should cost around $3.25". She says it's $3.75, I don't understand anything about sales tax". I said so if you go to a store and an item you want costs $10 and they want to charge you $13 you'd be alright with that?". She said no. I said, " but that's what you're wanting me to accept". She got all pissy after that telling me how long she has worked there and has been over charging people to finally I had to leave smiling in disgust due to the time loss and ignorance. Because of this shocking ignorance I'm actually glad I wasn't served anything. It's frightful to think of what their sanitary standards are.

There was nothing I liked about it. That was my first time going there waited 20 mins to get to the front with only one car in front and when I got there I was greeted by a fat black girl that was obviously high on weed, I ordered chicken and waffles and my chicken came out ASAP because they gave me old chicken but had to wait another 20 mins for waffles and when I finally honked the horn she gave me a attitude and said the waffle machine was broken then out of nowhere the waffles were done so my first time there after passing by it thousands of times I had to wait total of 35-40 mins for some old stale cold chicken and waffles served by a employee that is high on drugs made me vow not to return to a run down roach infested ghetto fast food restaurant I mean why waste your money there when there are plenty other places that have serve hot fresh food In a sanitary business I vote hot fresh and clean.

CASH ONLY. I forgot this tonight and found myself frantically searching for change in the drive thru. A lot of people say that the employees are rude, but they've always been very nice to me, they're just very direct and I get the feeling they won't put up with any BS. But, I'm always nice to them, and they've been nice back - even when I handed them a handful of change tonight.
The waffles rock. The chicken is the best fried chicken I've ever tasted. Be SURE to get extra seasoning, as much as you can afford! The seasoning is 50¢ additional a piece, I think. It's worth it either way, get at least two extra. We call this food, "chicken crack," because it's like cocaine for your taste buds. You'll be hooked, I promise. Other reviewers have mentioned cold food..., I've never had anything served to me that wasn't super fresh, so either I'm lucky or they were unlucky.
Anyways, I highly recommend this location if you're in the mood for some seriously good soul food. Just be prepared to possibly wait a while in the drive through and BRING CASH! It's so freaking good.... I'd wait all night long if I had to!

*** Rudy's is another very similar establishment that is often compared to here. Rudy's is good, but Big Mama's is better!
