07/06/2016 11:03 am"First-rate all the way", this "sophisticated" Downtown respite puts out an "excellent", "innovative" mix of New American and Southwest fare from chef-owner Bruce Auden in "industrial-chic" surroundings; add an "accommodating" staff and it's worth the "splurge"; P.S. look for pre- and post-theater prix fixe dinners as well as half-price options on entrees on weekends. |

04/12/2016 1:53 amThe service, both table and bar, is superb. A comfortable yet exciting experience is presented. The decor is becoming dated; showing wear. The meal was wrought with anticipation, stemming from the silky server. However I can't say the food lived up to its billing. The venison and quail were presented in varying degrees of doneness. The 11 spice blend tasted only of coriander. The rhubarb, cherry relish was mostly dried cranberries. The distinct tanginess of rhubarb was absent. The corn flour goat cheese tart was superb as a light starch component. The side of shitakes and peas could have been perfect, but it was over-sauced to the point of swimming. |

03/29/2016 4:23 pmLuv Luv Luv the food here. We had reservation on Saturday and everyone there was so nice and welcoming. The food was great and our waiter was very helpful and really fun to talk to. The Duck was perfectly cooked and I will definitely come back when I visit San Antonio again |
