This West Lovers Lane jewel box turns out small and large portions of elevated, contemporary French fare, including a chef's tasting menu Thursday–Sunday; though a recent makeover dialed back the formality, it remains elegant, offering fine dining without the stuffiness.

Food:

The first time we ate at Bijoux, the serving size of the first course and exotic ingredients made me think I'd leave hungry, but it turned out to be one of my favorite dining experiences ever. The flavors and textures were absolutely unmatched. Anyone here that complains about the service missed the point; if you want to rush through a 5 course meal, go order 5 meals at Chili's. If you want to savor and enjoy every bite, and sip of wine, while enjoying company, there's no better place in DFW.

We stumbled upon this upscale French restaurant on a weeknight by accident and were pleasantly surprised. It was not busy and felt quite intimate. The service was good and the food was excellent. They would not split items, which I anticipate at an upscale restaurant, but did accommodate us. The menu was great. We tried a variety of items and all were excellent. This is not a quick dining experience so plan accordingly and enjoy the well timed service.

Had a flawless experience at Bijoux in February. We enjoyed the pork belly to start (wow!), then I had the beef cheek (insane!) and then the Grand Marnier souffle (crazy good!). We will be back, hopefully much sooner than later.

The food was great. The service was horrible. The management was minor league. I will not return again. I will make sure my friends never go here unless they have 4 hours for dinner. Hope your experience is better than ours.

My wife and I dined at Bijoux to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Needless to say it was one of the greatest dining experiences I have had in a long time. Each course was absolutely delicious! The service was quick and accurate and the Sommelier recommended the perfect wine parring with our dinner. I highly recommend Bijoux for your next night out on the town!
