Apperently 8pm is to late building full of workers yet couldnt get a refill or a carryout box had to get up walk over to the corner where 3 yes 3 were rolling silverware thats more important than customers and then waiting 15 mins to have someone come to ring us up and take our money embarressed that I had taken 2 people there for the first time bragging how great it was what a mistake ZERO STARS IS WHAT THEY DESERVE

The brisket sandwich had like 1/8 of a pound of meat 3 slices the thickness of bologna.. was almost no flavor and was tough as boot leather.. the okra I had for my side tasted like dish soap was spilled in it. And the worst excuse for sweet tea on earth.. I'm from Texas and we know sweet tea.. I had better tea in New York.
If your wanting good food.. skip this place and just go to Arby's... saw plenty of them in town.

The food is bland, the meat is dry and tough, but the catfish isn't too bad. The wait staff is excellent, but service can't make up for the kitchen. If you like what the school cafeteria served, then this is the place for you. My boss loves this place, and it's the only sit-down place in the area, so I'll probably keep going.

All of these reviews are a little older, so maybe things have changed in recent years. This is probably one of the worst BBQ in town. The only thing people enjoy here are the catfish.

Now the service is good. It is very homely and the locals love the joint. My customers love going here (90% because of the catfish). However, if someone was visiting, they would think the BBQ was bad, and the joint was dirty. Everything inside is old, tables are falling apart and the chairs are similar. The BBQ is all boiled and the quality of the meat is poor. (I would rather eat at Rib Crib)
