04/12/2016 11:57 amKnown for its "deep commitment to real local food", this informal South Minneapolis "neighborhood storefront" supplies "super-fresh", "always-delicious" sandwiches, pizzas and other "light", "inexpensive" New American bites that you "order at the counter" and "friendly", "hustling" staffers bring to your table; it's kind of an "earth mother type of place" – think "veggie vibe with a bike-enthusiast ethos" – from which "most leave satiated and smiling." |

01/25/2016 7:19 pmGreat Korean food close to downtown Minneapolis. An a la carte style restaurant where you order the food up front and then it is brought out to your table when ready. A very good selection of Korean/American food, including salad and soup. With open seating, it is very family friendly. Equally appropriate for a working lunch or a family meal. Because of the open seating, it can be a little loud, but it's still easy to have light conversation while you eat. Parking is all street-side. There is plenty of parking in the vicinity, but you should allow yourself some extra time to park when making your plans. |

Food:
11/29/2015 5:32 pmGenerally very good, but I could barely cut through, let alone chew, the English breakfast muffin at the base of the Birchwood Benedict. That was a disappointing part of an otherwise splendid entree. Given the price, I was expecting better. |
