Bj's Restaurant & Brewery - Lloyd Center, Portland, Oregon Restaurant Details

Food:

Mostly a clothing store mall. It's got a lot of construction currently but they're also in the middle of a remodel for the ice rink. Lots of good stores, pushy kiosk clerks, and a decent food court. I used to work in the mall from 2002 to 2009 and it's not what it used to be. Numerous stores that were there during my tenure are no longer in business, including Billy Heartbeats and Toys R Us. But like I said, this mall has a preponderance of clothing stores.

Food:

There is just something about Lloyd Center that makes my skin crawl when I'm there. The busyness and large droves of mostly high schoolers and young people seem to always be crowding the place to the point if claustrophobia. It seems to always be like this when I'm there, even during the week. The shops here are up to par, but the place just hasn't done enough to create a comfortable atmosphere (even though a large reconstruction is coming). If you have to go, make it a quick shop before you start to pull your hair out.

Food:

Great location, easy access, good variety of stores. Needs better/healthier/non Chinese food/nicer food court options, or more surrounding restaurants. Get good food in there and I'd give it 5 stars.

Food:

Lloyd Center is a mall and it does everything that malls do. If you need something from a specific store that is inside this mall, and the store specializing in selling that item, then it will probably be there, at the store. Wetzels Pretzels sells pretzels for example. Cinnabon does not.

In general, malls suck but we all acknowledge they have their purposes. With that in mind, Lloyd Center is my defacto choice for all things mall related. I also find that it has a distinctly less "baby diappery" smell than Clackamas Town Center and, thankfully, it doesn't require me driving out to Beaverton to get there.

Hot Dog on a stick is also gone and has been replaced by a Subway, which sort of ruins the point of going to the mall in the first point, but I digress...

Food:

I loved it! Three story indoor mall with an ice skating rink inside of it. Great selection of stores from the low end to the top end stores. Had my nails done at US Nails and they also did a wonderful job. Would definitely be back again. :)
