Great bar. Lots of TV's for sports. Fantastic Steaks.

Had gift cards so decided to eat there today. Service slow. Took forever to get a simple burger king size burger and a small steak. No great deals here. Nothing special. Will be back if we get more gift cards.

We've eaten at this restaurant a number of times before, including on special occasions. I looked at reviews here and on Google ahead of time and saw a contrast between those who loved it and those who hated it. I had never looked at reviews before.

In the past we came for dinner and had a large special like the campfire, this time it was for lunch. The waitress was Rebecca. She was quite attentive, checking on us regularly, friendly, clearing the table quickly when needed and meeting any request.

This dinner was for Valentines Day, but we avoid eating at a restaurant on the holiday itself to avoid the crowds. This was two days later on a quiet day, the way we like it. This place is set up for quiet and privacy at each table, one reason that makes it attractive.

The food was served hot, paced well, and my chicken and loaded potato was excellent. My wives steak was good but a bit overcooked. The Caesar salads were good. The bread had been served promptly without asking. We left full, satisfied and pleased.

The ambiance is Southwest, cowboy pictures, sports bar, soft country music piped in.
This chain is a kind of Arizona tradition.

If I could give them a negative that would have been better. Please be very wary when using a credit or debit card here.
Berlyn "the waitress" has no concept of what an empty glass means and does not take multiple requests well as only a few process at a time. What should have been a $25.00 meal turned into $37.50. Called the next day and spoke to a manager, Jenny, who turned my $37.50 problem into a $61.70 problem. So, by now I'm really really upset that a manager could not fulfill something as simple as a refund. So, I call back again and get Steve who essentially threw Jenny under the bus stating that she didn't understand what needed to be done and requested I drive back to the location and he can handle this in person. I get there and hes obviously frustrated that I am interrupting his day so he punches everything in as a new purchase and hands me the refund receipt. Low and behold I still show $61.70 AND the $37.50 still on my account with no credits making a total of $99.51 that I will never get back. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!
The food is not worth mentioning as I make better quality food at home. I will however mention that the staff here needs a huge overhaul. Show some emotion of any kind, any at all and that would be an improvement. This was my first time to a Black Angus so I can safely say this is one place I will never visit again.

We arrived on our lunch break, and we had to travel far to get there. The greeter was nice, and the manager was helpful. The waitress was helpful at first, but as we were finishing our meals she forgot about us. Some of the food was really good. The steak had too much cartilage in it. The $8.50 lunch coupon is not a good deal because the drinks are very expensive. A water botter is $1.99! A fountain drink is as much as $2.75. The coupon doesn't help save money at all.
