07/03/2008 8:55 pm I ate at Black Angus for the first time last night. I had the New York and my fiance had the Filet Minon. Both were delicious steaks. I actually liked both of them better than the New York I had at Ruth's Chris, and much better than the Ribeye I had at Portland City Grill (which sort of sucked). And the bill for an appetizer, 2 salads, 2 steaks, 2 cokes, and a dessert was only $55, which is less than half the price of Ruth's Chris. The atmosphere was nice too (as nice as you can find on Mcloughlin anyway...). I will go back here, for sure. The only part I thought was lacking was that the strawberry lemonade was really watery and the garlic mashed potatoes could have been creamier. |
