4/8/16 This is the only catering company the Virginia Beach Best Western Ocean Front Hotel uses. I am trying to plan a banquet for a family reunion and the Black Angus won't even call back! I have never experienced anything like it!

I will post on line when someone calls me back... Let's see how long it takes...

4/11/16 I talked to the owner today and he was very nice and helpful!!! I increased my rating... I will update my experience and rating as we move through the catering process. Perhaps, it was just one staff person who does not return calls. ???

Returned to this once great restaurant after many years for a special Birthday dinner. Service was great, food was OK, but EXTREMELY overpriced for what it was. I agree with other reviewers, save your money, there are MUCH better restaurants at Va. Beach!!

Let's start off with the atmosphere of the restaurant , As soon as you walk in you notice the lighting is terrible you basically have to squint to see and you are seated in what seems to be Dracula chairs. In my exclusive my waiter was dull and unenthusiastic.... Me and my family waited almost 1 hour for a very small portioned meal that best fits a 2 year old appetite. I do not recommend this place to anyone I would suggest you guys actually get your money's worth some where else .

Friendly service but a bit overpriced. We had $59.99 dinner for 2, and a glass of wine $85.00

I love this place. It's a glance into the elegance and beauty of days forgotten. I imagine there's a couple who met on the Boardwalk and had their first date here. Many years later they still frequent as regulars and get their favorite table as they hold hands and stare deeply into each other's eyes. The husband orders the New York strip with peppercorn sauce and the wife orders the sea food platter. They reminisce about their first kiss and the good times they've had while enjoying the house made sangria. I'm rambling. Good food. Great staff. Thanks for the great time
