04/17/2016 6:44 pmFood poor quality and over cooked. My daughter actually sent back Cheese Broccoli Soup. It tasted like a microwave concoction. Very disappointed. Just not what they used to be. |

08/31/2014 4:39 pmGreat food, good coffee, excellent service. Unfortunately with the thermostat set at 70 degrees (my smart phone showed 69 degrees) the compressor never went off. So the continuing volume of cold air blowing across the table and the food turned this dinning experience into a big negative. Attempts to alert the manager proved unsuccessful. Completely unacceptable. I won't be back. |

06/22/2014 9:50 pmOn August 23, 2013, Black-eyed Pea catered my Mother's Surprise 60th Birthday at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. We had approximately 60 guests and the presentation, service, and food was fantastic. I met with Heather Rose to discuss meal plan options and general decor themes which she matched perfectly. They provided a Fruit & Cheese platter, pre-set Spinach Blackberry Salad, Zesty Texas Brochette, Chicken (on the side for the Vegetarians) Spinach Dip, & Loaded Potato Skins (with and without bacon). We had Iced Tea and a delicious Cranberry-Pineapple Fruit Punch to drink. My sister really appreciated that they brought the head table appetizers & dessert (which a friend had made) so that we would not miss out while we were socializing. |
