I recently attended a wedding at the Harbor View at Jones Landing out on Peaks Island for a family friend, it was gorgeous! The food was excellent, and the service was great! Such a friendly staff, always checking in and asking us about our meal. The food was delicious, unique and always came out right on time, and we never felt rushed. You've got to love servers that seem like they're having fun. They even made sure to set aside dessert for the bride and groom, who were dancing all night and didn't get a chance to get a taste.

I have to say, the venue was absolutely fabulous! Great views of the water, and a ceremony right on the ocean! We all got to take a ferry out to the island, and spent the night dancing under the prettiest bistro lighting right on the water! It just so happened that 4th of July fireworks had been rescheduled and we got to watch fireworks over the ocean, it was amazing! I would recommend them to anyone!

Their customer service is terrible. I feel bad for the newlyweds that had to deal with them. I recently attended a wedding that they were catering it.

The food was not that great. Cold clam chowder and not everyone was enjoying the dish because it was cold. Plus in my 3 years old daughter's soup, there were fish bones. I couldn't believe it.

The waitresses were very impatient to get the plates off the table. My daughter and I were eating our plates and as I stopped eating to clap, the waitress tried to take my plate away! I saw them taking few plates from guests that they were still eating. They need to ask if the guests are done with their plates. If not done, they need to move on.

Then we had lobsters for dinner. The lobsters tasted excellent but they were hard shell. What kind of company serves hard shell to a wedding? It would have made sense to serve soft shell lobsters. This was a formal wedding. Yes, they had bibs with wipes but it is messier with hard shell lobsters. Oh, the wipes. All of my wipes were dry like they were old. I had to get up and go get new wipes. I continued to get old ones so I ended up using my daughter's baby wipes I had in my bag. They were not prepared enough because they did not have enough crackers for the guests that were having the lobsters. What kind of caterer that serves melted butter in a big bowl per table? Pretty dumb that we all did not get a small container of butter so we can continuously dip the lobster meat in it while we are eating the lobster but no, we had to pass the butter bowl all around the table. About the time I reached the lobster tail, I had given up. It was just pointless waiting for the butter bowl to get around so I could dip my meat in it.

I heard great things about this company but we (including several guests) weren't pleased.
