Inexpensive local American food. Lovely in the summer on the back patio. A real staple in the neighborhood and consistently decent food at the right price.

It's almost like your eating in someone's backyard with all that patio furniture. This is a nice place for an outdoor three course meal.

The food is consistently good and the atmosphere is homely.

After dinner, take a walk to Lickety Split for dessert, just down the street!

I love going to the Black Whale with my family. This place has never disappointed me. The food is great and well prepared.
