Where do I start? Oh how about the fake Irish accents or the 20 minutes it took us to get an Irish coffee, approximately a minute before our meal. Half way into my fish n chips I find a deep fried cockroach staring back at me topping off an already sour experience with so called "authentic" pubs. Manager comped the meal but it still took another 10 minutes to get the waitresses to verify he comped the meal and get for the $11 drink tab.

So there you have it, your call now.

It's a good family ran dive bar in the heart of the Gaslamp district. On the days when they do have live music, it's not a bad place to loosen up and drink way too much beer. Great vibe most of the time.

Check your bill ($700 is a lot different than $400), no electronic itemized receipts to help dispel subsequent confusion, which will take another half-hour of frustration. Slow service (even if the help is nice and trying), and trying to explain how to make some basic shots (ever heard of a kamikaze?) is an exercise is frustration. Thought it might be just me, but my friend got hammered with the same problem on the same night. Can't recommend to anyone, avoid.

They do not have music 7 days a week, unless you consider a radio to be Live Music. I am not even sure if they are open everyday or night. Not a friendly atmosphere whatsoever. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and it was undercooked to say the least. When I finally had to take it back to the bar, couldn't find a waiter, It sat on the corner of the bar for about 10 minutes before a customer took it back to the kitchen. 20 minutes later, my burger that had the original bun and condiments on the plate, returned to the bar. the barkeep then had the cook bring it to me. The soda's are water and the beer, well let me just say, tasted dirty. I could understand this happening if the place was busy. I think there were a total of 4 people in the place.
