A new owner has arrived with a fresh look on what a Blimpie should be. To be short and to the point: fresh veggies (sometimes from Whole Foods), more meat for your money, clean surroundings, and a friendly staff. You may find that it gets crowded during lunch time, but in speaking with the owner about this, there is a simple answer: he has to turn it around, and as more patrons come to this location, more staff will be added as necessary.

As a Potomac business person with a big appetite and not a lot of time, Subway just doesn’t cut it anymore with their three slices of meat and tasteless bread. I enjoy the daily special at Blimpie (whatever it may be), and also get to enjoy better food and service for the same price (or less) than the next sandwich place.

Previous owners of this Blimpie location put it to shame; they changed frequently, and each time a new owner came to be, I tried to see if they would set a standard that could be consistently met. Try and try again as they may, I did not become a repeat customer… until now.
