Pretty lackluster, in my humble opinion. But they always seem busy. Typical diner food. Decent breakfast. Better than other options on the street.

The Fillet of Sole Florentine is the best in the WORLD. This is a great place for your daily food and always very Fresh! The Wraps are great and the Salads are awesome. I Love this place. BTW the owner's son is sooo cute!

Have lived in Riverdale for about 7 months now and have ordered from Blue Bay a few times. Usually it's fine and they have a large selection. However, this evening we placed a delivery order which took over an hour to get to us. When we called 50 minutes in, we were told that the order was "just ready" and was "going out now", yet we still not get the order until 15 minutes later.

When we received the food, it was ice cold, as if it had been sitting in the car for who knows how long. When we called the manager to notify him, he had the audacity to argue, so I let him know I'd dispute the credit card charge. Upon learning this - HE ASKED TO HAVE SOMEONE COME AND PICK UP THE FOOD TO TAKE IT BACK - I AM NOT JOKING. Of course, THAT person made it here in under 10 minutes. Completely outrageous.

Will NEVER order again.

I have been to Blue Bay many times mostly because I absolutely love a particular item on the menu and the restaurant is in the neighborhood. I have had deliveries made to my home a few times as well. On one occasion the hostess made a mistake and charged me about $3.50 for a side I did not order. I called and spoke to the owner's son who was nice and understanding and said he would credit me back. (Which I was never actually credited back at this point). The next week I placed an order for delivery and once again I was charged more than I should have been. So, I called and spoke to the owner. I explained to him that I was charged $10 for french toast. He responds with a nasty attitude and argues with me that he has been in business for 36 years and that there is no mistake. Besides the fact that we order french toast literally every weekend and have NEVER been charged $10 for the french toast. He says they have changed the menu and that I should get a new one and that I can forget about the credit back. I ask him to look at the menu, so he does. Turns out he is wrong. So what does he do? Not admit his mistake and tells me that its really just a $1 difference and that "It's just $1 and that I can forget about it!" (also mentioned something about plating fees for deliveries...?) I don't know how the rest of us are doing in this economic state but I don't care if it's a .25 mistake I'm going to fight for that .25 cents! You know for a restaurant owner who has been in business for 36 years he knows nothing about respect towards his customers and doesn't even know his own menu. I will never go back. If you do go and have an issue, I'd suggest to take it up with the owner's son.

Just a really great diner. Reliable, clean and friendly. My favorites are the grilled chicken caesar salad, greek yogurt with honey and walnuts, the turkey triple decker sandwich (turkey roasted fresh daily), the daily soups and specials and of course the swiss cheese burger deluxe.
