Food:

Most authentic New Blue Bayou food in the metro area. Favorites include fried catfish, seafood dirty rice, gumbo and red beans. Delicious food and fun atmosphere...highly recommend.

Food:

You have to eat here at least once when you go to Disneyland. It's on the pricier side ($20-$40 per entree) but it is delicious and the ambiance is awesome, especially for fans of the Pirates ride. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich (ham and cheese fried in a croissant bun and you dip it in jelly) and I was so stuffed but had to finish it. Also, the complimentary bread was amazing! Make sure to book a reservation beforehand.

The food the atmosphere was amazing! My fiance and I both got the steak. It was delicious and flavorful. Was not a fan of their potatoes. Unfortunately our service was horrible. We were not attended to till 10 Mounties after being seated. I think our waitress was more focused on finishing her shift. After she brought us our drinks we didn't see her anymore and a random waiter picked up our table. He was a bit more attentive, but didn't introduce himself or tell us the situation. Expected high end service for such a nice, expensive restaurant.

Very disappointed. We have always been on Pirates of the Caribbean and wanted to go to the restraunt. After trying to make reservations multiple years and it being booked, we were finally able to get a table for lunch. We were not impressed. The restaurant is packed full and we were seated right by the entrance, with no sight of the water and we were in direct day light, Not the romantic night time, lantern, experience we hoped for. The food was expensive, my husband got the steak and it was tough and not very good. I had the chicken which was alright. Definitely wouldn't do it again, big let down.

We decided to try the Blue Bayou for the Fantasmic Dining Package. The atmosphere is great like most mentioned and it gets extra brownie points for being inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride - a favorite for most. The food was good in my opinion. I ordered the Filet Mignon and my fiancée ordered the Surf n' Turf. The package benefits are great but for the price, not worth it.
