06/03/2009 2:07 pmGreat food, service and atmosphere but if you book a private party make sure you hold them to the contract as much as they'll hold you to it. Keep in mind any verbal promises will not be honored. By all means make sure your guest count is as accurate as possible because they will certainly charge you for that shortage. If a manager tells you that they will provide you with those dinners you'll be paying for anyway - don't believe him. Get it in writing as well. If they charge you for something they stated they wouldn't in the contract make sure they remove it. They will challenge you but hold them to it. I dropped some serious coin in this place and expected more - I guess I was wrong. Otherwise, have a good time. |

02/01/2009 5:43 amAfter reading all the previous reviews I was almost scared away from my Restaurant Week dinner. It did make the Top 100 restaurants didn't it?! Okay, so.....service was quick and we even had a visit from the manager. The cream of crab soup was divine! The calamari was good (very FRESH & HOT), and the drinks were okay. The Mahi-Mahi was tasty, but the linguini was lacking in seasoning. It was my first visit and I would go back, but I still prefer M&S. It wasn't outstanding, but it wasn't bad. It give it 3.5 stars (the clicker is unable to do the half star). |

11/03/2008 6:32 pmDe Castro can't make dining any easier or predictably affordable. From complimentary parking to a new 3-course $29.95 menu, Blue Sea is making dining out very realistic and always delicious during these down economic times. |

07/28/2008 7:32 pmI went there for restaurant week last year and had a terrible experience. I think my date ordered the rockfish which came with lump crab meat on top. She had asked the server to just bring the fish as she is allergic to the crab. When the food came out, the crab was still on top of her fish and when I went to take a bite of my fish there was a piece of hair in it. I will never go back. |
