Food:

Had to meet here in the party room for the King William Fair meeting. Food was great! The service was outstanding. The servers did a great job of keeping our drinks full and making sure we had everything we needed. I really love this place!

Food:

I'm from Portland, Oregon so maybe San Antonio food and beer is sub-par in general and people don't know any better. The beer was mediocre, and at $6 - 7 a short pint, with a piss poor pour with a two inch head, is not worth it. After ordering food or beer, it took 40 mins for the beer order to be placed, then another 40 mins for the food order to be placed. Luckily, I had something that I could work on, or else I would have walked out. I made the mistake of ordering a second beer hoping that it was better and 20 minutes later I found out that it wasn't. I actually thought that the waitress sitting at the bar and the bar tender chatting with his one customer had forgotten about the handful of the other people at the tables. The food was ok, but just that. Don't order anything that is fish based because it'll come out with a cardboard consistency. The tortillas for the fish tacos had already fallen apart before I got the opportunity to unwrap them to make the tacos. I didn't try any of the other menu items even though I was still hungry, and I am kind of glad that I didn't.

Ordered a beer flight; very good craft beer. Also ordered the brisket sandwich... Do yourself a favor and pass on it. Very little meat and mostly fat. I would go back for the beer but would go somewhere else for food.

Had dinner there 3/25, good seating. Quick service for each course which was well prepared. Enjoyed the meal, the beers were great. The samplers were good and added to the fun. The staff knowledge was part of the great experience. All in all a good good meal, service to match and a even better value.

The beer (IPA) was good, the service really friendly and prompt. Nice blues playing, not too loud so you could actually have a conversation. Nice location, lovely walk from the downtown hotels. Was thinking about taking customers down there this week.

The food was not good. Ordered the enchiladas and at the second piece of gristle in them was the end of that meal, less than half eaten and I was hungry. Had a greasy film in the mouth the beer could not cut thru. Perhaps some of the brewers should take a look in the kitchen to see what's going on in there. If set to rights, this could be a very nice place.
