Horrible experience on prom night. Took over an hour to receive our food and the management was horrible. Wouldn't go back

Food:

Let down. It was basically like grocery store sushi, except that instead of calling crab stick 'crab stick', like most places do, they called it 'blue crab'. Also, the walu was still partially frozen. We ordered a roll that had 'kobe beef ' in it but our waitress informed us that they were out of kobe beef. We asked if they could make the same roll but with beef tenderloin instead , which she told us they had, and we ended up with a plate of just cooked, sliced steak, almost like a tataki, but cooked all the way, that was very chewy and a healthy workout for our jaws. At least we got some good laughs out of it!

As previously stated, giving one star because it's not possible to give zero. Made a reservation and was excited to try bluefin for our first time due to all the good reviews, but was severely disappointed. Drinks and appetizer came in a timely manner, but took over an hour from the time we ordered until the time that we finally gave up hope that it was coming and went to confirm that our food was coming and found out or order was never put into the system. Apparently new management may be the root cause of many issues, as two other tables near us were extremely disappointed with their service as well. Seemed that waiters were poorly trained and there were not enough staff for Valentines Weekend. Food was good, but it took way to long to get to us and overall customer service was very poor. Management ended up paying for our drinks and waiving the mandatory gratuity, but they've got some work to do.

I would give a zero star if possible. They just got a new management and it's totally screwed up. There were only couple tables when we walked in and we waited for over 20 mins and we still didn't get our sushi appetizer. Very disappointed and won't be back again.

I love this place I come when ever I have the time and extra money. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Its very clean and I love their happy hour I would suggest this place to anybody... You should come if you want great sushi
