I don't like leaving reviews under four stars, but I was fairly underwhelmed with Bluephies. My sandwich was decent but not life altering by any means, and I was further disappointed that the reason for my visit, to try Bluephie's famous cookie dough egg roll desert, was squandered when I was informed the restaurant had completely run out in the early afternoon. The staff was incredibly friendly however, and I understand kitchens do occasionally run out of things, but it was a bummer to say the least.

Always good food no matter when I have gone to eat here. A mix of modern cuisine coupled with classics.
i would recommend to anyone who goes here needs to try the Cookie Dough Egg-Roll

I'm not saying all of this because I am a former employee, but the breakfast is great, the eggs benedict is amazing, the French toast is great, but I'm really a fan of the cobb burger but the bowling alley burger is my personal favorite & their fries? To die for + they have great desserts & a awesome selections of cocktails... I love the bacon wrapped cheese curds too. #TeamBluephies#

Wonderful food and drink. The brunch is my favorite, with the breakfast jambalaya coming in at numero uno.

We ordered the stuffed french toast, two benedicts, a denver scrambler, the pierogi poutine, and the bacon wrapped cheese curds.

The french toast looked, felt, and tasted like it has only been cooked on one side, and barely at that. The side that had been "cooked" looked like it had touched the grill for maybe 15 seconds, the other side was soggy with liquid, as well as ice cold. I live five minutes away, and was there to pick up my food before it was done cooking. There should be absolutely no reason for my food to go from hot off the grill to ice cold during a five minute drive home, unless that reason is that it wasn't hot off the grill in the first place.

The pierogi poutine is described as pierogi's topped with cheese curds and gravy. There were maybe three cheese curds total in the entire order.

The hollandaise is described as "real" in the menu, and it would be, if real hollandaise sauce was orange and tasteless. The English muffin for the Hangover Benedict was soggy, even though the hollandaise was on the side, and there was nothing crispy about the potato pancake for the Potato Benedict.

The bacon wrapped cheese curds were Bluephies only saving grace, and they couldn't save much.

I've lived in Milwaukee and Madison and have ordered breakfast/brunch from many different restaurants, many different times. Never have I been more disappointed in almost 70$ worth of food than I was when I ordered from Bluephies. We won't be ordering again.
