Bluewater Grill, Toledo, Ohio Restaurant Details

Food:

I would give this place a 5 star for crab cakes alone but the filet mijnon was AWFUL. I actually sat and watched the guy cook eat his dinner lick his fingers and prepare our food on wed march 9th and 9:50 pm. We arrived at 9:10 and waited till dude ate to cook our food it seemed like I asked for a slightly pink steak and got a bloody steak but after waiting 40 minutes for my meal I decided not to send it back when all in all I should have told them we don't want none of our food when I seen him licking his nasty fingers Smdh we won't be going back anytime soon.

My husband and I had an 8 o'clock reservation, we were seated shortly after. Upon sitting, I noticed a gnat buzzing around our table. I shooed it away and thought nothing of it. Our waitress came, got our order and then I noticed the gnat came back, then several MORE gnats! After watching these little bugs walking around my wine glass and on our bread my appetite was gone. When our server came back I asked for our bill and told her the gnat problem here was a PROBLEM. The manager came with our meals boxed up and she took care of our bill. We will never eat at this restaurant again. It certainly isn't what it once was!

Terrible place. I told the waitress I didn't want onions with my salad, I didn't want chives on my baked potato, I didn't want onions with my meal. Guess what I got onions on everything. Cmon upscale what a joke. Sometimes you have to listen to customers. Will never go back.

Food:

Wonderful food here, and the service is usually very consistent. One of their very popular dishes is the Mable Bourbon Salmon, and rightfully so - delicious! Their bar selection is fairly expansive as well, so you're likely to find whatever you're hoping for.

Food:

Barbecue sauce on top of Lobster Mac and Cheese?! Are you kidding me? Why not put chocolate shaving on top of your lettuce salad. Manager said "well I love it". Is that really the appropriate? Do you think customers care if the manager loves it. Please!
