Bob's Smoke House, San Antonio, Texas Restaurant Details

Food is awful. K this even ruined my taste buds for any kind of BBQ. Im a true Texan and I can't believe this place exist inside San Antonio it should be shut down . I think they had friends post instead of real reviews because I have no idea why people would eat this stuff. I wouldn't even feed this to my dogs. It was watery and undercook stag away from this place

Food:

When you pull up its empty. I know why. It sucks. And that's nicely put. They charge for a slice of bread and jalepeno but don't tell you until you ring it up. Then the chicken was still bloody. The brisket is all fat and burnt. The tea wasn't even tea. It was lemonade with a hint of tea. It smelled like toilet water and that's right next to the drinks and order counter. Gross. Just gross.

Food:

The brisket was great, and the creamed corn was really good as well. The prices were also reasonable. Only thing that truly disappointed me was the sweet tea... The bar b a sauce was about average... Overall I like the place and would come back.

Best place ever!!! We go to San Antonio a lot on Business and every time we go I'm a bundle of nervous. I'm scared to be around SA streets, Cuz of all the bad stories I've heard. But we came across this place and OMG! It was AMAZING! I couldn't believe how nice and friendly they were and how they took care of us right away. Even the people that were sitting in there eating were friendly. Some of them were from out of town but some had been coming for years there. I was so happy to find this place. I will be returning and I will let my husband's company know about this place too. Oh in case your wondering about the food ...it was to die for. OMG the best BBQ ever, juicy and moist. I loved it!!

Food:

I order four pork ribs and a half sausage link. The total was twenty three dollars!!!!! I just didn't find that price range reasonable at all. But I guess it's a Texas thing to charge by the weight, which can add up to a huge charge. (4.50 PER RIB)!!!! That's ridiculous! I can purchase a rack of pork ribs from HEB for less! I know it's a business and money needs to be made, but overcharging is such a turn off.
