If you're in the mood for a "quick" Tex-Mex fix, this "convenient" local chain remains "reliable" for "filling" staples like char-grilled burritos and tacos served over the counter at a "bargain price"; it's a "simple" operation, but it leaves its "legions of fans" "with a smile."

No longer at Kenmore Square!

It WAS a great place for a quick lunch, but they have moved.

The burritos aren't good: some rice, beans and meat. My steak wasn't tasty at all.
You are much better off going to Chipotle @ Fenway!

All of the expense of Anna's, Qdoba, or Chipotle and none of the taste. Literally the best quality of the burrito was that it was hot. Bland flavor with undercooked beans. Boca Grande Fail.

And charging for soda refills? Really? It costs them like 5 cents for a soda - they charge $1.25... and want 50 cents for a refill. RIP-OFF. I will never go back. IMHO, if you want Mexican in Kenmore, go to Qdoba instead.

I've been to this place a dozen times, always order the same thing and somehow end up with a different price every time. Whenever I question the price, I just get funny looks. The customer service needs a face lift at this Kenmore location. The best thing here is by far the tomales (sp?) which isn't saying much since all the rest of the food is pretty mediocre. If this is the best mexican place in Boston, then Boston is definitely missing out on serious mexican food. Betty's in Brookline is a lot better for taste and price.

Awesome burritos. Of the burritos I have eaten over the past seven years in Boston, Boca Grande easily tops Qdoba, Chipotle, Boloco, and possibly Anna's. The chicken burrito is best, trust me.
