03/03/2016 6:08 pmWe were 2 min into eating our food and everything was fine until my girlfriend looked across at me dragging the longest hair out of her Philadelphia royal! "Pulp fiction voice" which was fine. One hair is understandable. I told her I would eat the sandwich which led to us switching because I painted the picture of all the skin cells that she couldn't see rubbing into the sandwich. In the end, we settled on her eating the other half. But she insisted to search first. Then she immediately pulled out a mini red hair. One hair is understandable but red beards extra addition was to much, which led to an immediate departure. This disappointed me because I was high and had the munchies. But its okay because now im at mellow mushroom and my pizza is about to show up like my African American father does :) moral of the story. Get good hair/beard nets because hair is a turn off especially on my gf. #kidding! |

05/20/2015 6:24 pmLet me start off by saying that they do have the potential to have good food. They serve BoarsHead products and have fantastic cakes. However, nearly every time we go there something is wrong. Once two people in our group ordered the "special" and both of them came out with molded bread. Another time a person in our group had a beetle on their tray next to their food. Today I was eating the Cajun wrap which a always get and it had a 8" hair in it. The building is not very clean looking either. I have had it with eating here and will spend my money somewhere else. |

02/13/2015 8:23 pmBogie's is by far the best deli around. It's locally owned and operated, so you're supporting local businesses by eating there. the staff is friendly, food comes out fast, and all of their food is homemade. Fresh sliced Boar's Head meats and cheeses, delicious soups, salads, bagels & desserts made fresh every day. They even offer food for the holidays! I've been going to Bogie's Deli Mendenhall for years, even after changing jobs, which moved me further away. It's worth the drive. If you order like I do it can get a little pricey, but that's what I get for having so many favorite things. :-) My only regret is that I forgot to order a lemon square today. |
