05/24/2016 10:21 pmThis long-running Buckman favorite offers midpriced Indian cuisine in a wide variety of spice levels, all ferried by an attentive staff; it's also known for its mango margaritas and televised cricket matches, but take note – the space is small and you almost always need a reservation to get in. |

02/26/2016 2:21 amExcellent mix of choices. Great service, nice atmosphere. Can hear my wife when she is speaking, which is at least as important as the excellent food quality. Highly recommended, but do make sure to make a reservation. |

01/07/2016 6:45 pmAlways a treat for us to come here. My wife and I have been coming here every so often when we can make it into Portland. WELL worth the trip. The food is authentic and plenty of it to fill me up. The Naan is great, and I love the Lamb Tiki Marsala. That's what I always get. My wife is a fowl eater, so she likes the Chicken Tiki Marsala. Pay them a visit, but I suggest reservations as the place is not huge. |

10/04/2015 5:07 pmThis is a nice restaurant with good service, but the food is just bland. If you have had great, authentic Indian food before, you will be disappointed with the food here as it lacks that great flavor that is crucial of good Indian food. Not to mention it's extremely overpriced: $16 for a chicken entree, and a $2 up-charge when you request just white meat. Again, a nice looking restaurant, but we most likely won't be back. |

09/14/2015 6:47 pmMy wife and I always make it a point to eat at the Bombay Cricket Club when we come to Portland. The staff is excellent and its owner Kareem will alway work miracles to get you in (it is a small place) if you have reservations or not. We have eaten their with world travelers and most agree that this is the most authentic Indian food outside of India. Excellent restaurant Kareem, I only wish we had one in Rancho Mirage,CA. |

07/24/2015 4:15 pmI come for the Tikka Masala, and I stay for the Mango-rita. I like that they offer both Mediterranean and Indian options. I have some friends that just won't eat Indian food for whatever crazy reason. We can go to BCC and I can get my Indian fix while they go off the Mediterranean menu. The staff is always super friendly. The food and chutneys are all spiced very well and so savory. The Zathar Naan is a must try. I recommend making a reservation, they seem to do best with that v.s. walk in traffic. |
