Bonefish Grill, Boise, Idaho Restaurant Details

Food:

Food was pretty decent... for seafood in an inland state. We had grilled salmon and fish and chips; and the service was fairly attentive. Bread was delish... and food was hot.

Why 4 stars? Well.. the decor is great.. but the booth we were in has a giant slash in it. A little attention to detail goes a long way.

Food:

We are regular weekly customers there and went in for lunch. We were the only patrons inside,
as everyone else was on the patio and were finished with their meals or still eating. We ordered and waited for 10 minutes just to get our drinks, water and soda. Another 30 minutes goes by, and because our waitress whom we have had before never checked on us or our food, I had to ask another waitress to do so. After 40 minutes we finally get our cold food with the orders totally wrong. My wife ordered fried rice, chicken tacos and a salad. They forgot the salad and they brought her white rice and shrimp tacos. I had order french toast, eggs and oatmeal. I've had shoe leather that was more tender than the cold french toast and they forgot the oatmeal. The manager, DJ or VJ, did absolutely nothing. No apologies, no coupon for a free appetizer, nothing. He showed up for 5 seconds and went in the back. My wife called him on the phone after we got home and he was still completely apathetic. There were 4 or 5 other waiters/waitresses there. Surely one of them could mix champagne and orange juice for the mimosas. During brunch there if you spend $20 for a certain entree, you get all the mimosas you can drink. Obviously the manager thinks he can make the place more profitable by have all waiters/waitresses shuffling free drinks than he can by taking care of the paying customers paying full price for meals with no free drinks. Lost a good customer as we probably spent over $200.00 there every month. We eat out a lot and there are plenty of other good restaurants where we can spend our money. This is not our first bad experience there but it was our last.

Wow! Very impressed for a chain restaurant! Had the bang bang shrimp eggs benedict and was sending praise to the Chef! Being a huge fan of good eggs benedict, it is tough to find such deliciousness elsewhere in Boise.
He had the carmel brûlée french toast and said it was delicious as well.
Don't miss out on Sunday Endless Brunch with the flavorful passion fruit mimosas. I don't think I'll ever go back to a standard mimosa. Quite the monetary deal!
We will go back for certain, great food, good service, and all worth the price point.

I was so frustrated and fed up with calling restaurants to find a place for a private birthday party. I was going to give up but decided to call BoneFish Grill for help, with Alisha and her staff’s help, I booked a party of 40+. The staff was really helpful and Alisha was great with assisting me over the phone. Thanks again!!!

This is my husband and my favorite resturant. The service is always friendly and the food is AMAZING. The bang bang shrimp and Lily's chicken are my favorite, and the martinis are to die for. We usually enmd up here on all our date nights. :)
