Food:

The service and food was fine. Near the end of our meal, a cockroach moved across the side of our table. My husband caught it in a napkin and called to the waiter, who removed the napkin with the cockroach in it and apologized. He came back a few minutes later, confirmed that he had seen and killed the roach, and offered us dessert on the house. We no longer had an appetite, and declined. Our waiter did not adjust our bill. We will not be going back. Even if they had adjusted the bill, we probably would not want to go back.

Food:

Disappointing Christmas eve eve dinner. The service was lackluster. The manager seated us, and quite frankly, looked like she'd rather be elsewhere. I agree with a previous poster that they only seem interested in turning the table, which wasn't necessary because it wasn't packed. In the past, it has been waiting room only even with reservations. It wasn't until the meal came that we realized why. Our portions were unbelievably small. I understand fish is pricey, but my side of butternut squash was 2-3 tablespoons at the most and lacked flavor. Ran into someone we knew there getting carry-out, and the restaurant apparently didn't know how to honor his gift card. He waited quite some time for them to settle it. Don't know what happened at this BF, but I hope it isn't the way the other BF's operate.

Delicious food. Great ambiance. Wonderful service. I've been here a few times since moving to Cincy and I love this place. It's a bit pricey, but when you consider the quality of food and service, it's definitely worth it!

For a first time experience it was great! The staff was very attentive and had a thorough knowledge of the menu. My waiter was able to give me a wonderful recommendation. The food was delicious and seasoned wonderfully. I will be back again!

I can't fairly judge the food as I did not get a chance to order anything. However, last Night was my first time at Bone Fish Grill in Hyde Park. I am so amazed at the lack of customer service. Went to meet a friend for her birthday. I didnt get to order anything because after sitting for over 15 mins a server never came to ask if I wanted anything. When I arrived, the group I went to meet had been waiting over 45 mins for their food and others had been waiting just as long for their checks. I then went to find a server. My group said that the service all night was like that. When we confronted the managers, Justy and Jarrod or Justin (not certain of the names) we got several comments. The both claimed to be the owners. The male manager asked us to leave solely based upon the actions of others from a previous visit. Most of us had either never been there or were not there last week. When we said that we would never come back again. The female manager actually said....."It would be wonderful if you did not return". The male manager accused us of cursing out the server and then threaten to call the police. I can guarantee this matter is FAR from being over. Expects calls to be made to the owner(s).
