07/18/2010 9:37 pmWe stayed at a hotel about a block away and this is a nice little family owned store with a deli. I had a hoagie which was prepared with freshly sliced deli meat with tomatoes and crisp lettuce, it was very good and reasonably priced. The next morning I got an egg sandwich. It had 2 fried eggs on a soft kaiser roll, for only $2.50! Also ordered an egg sandwich with sausage and cheese, it was only $4.00. They sell bags of ice cheaper than the local Acme supermarket. If you're staying nearby don't bother driving to the supermarket, they have most things you need with low prices and friendly service. |

08/18/2009 4:31 pmThe owner of our condo recommended we try the hoagie at Bonelli's since it is right around the corner. She was absolutely right. I got the Italian. Fresh sliced deli meat, cheese, soft hoagie roll with lettuce, tomato, and sweet peppers -- I was in heaven. |

10/21/2007 4:23 amGrowing up down the street, I got to know Bonellis pretty well. Best sandwiches in the world. That is not an exxageration. I live in England now, and have eaten across Europe, and I still miss the Turkey Sleeper, the Old World Hoagie, the Roasted Lamb, the Scrambled Egg with Broccoli Rabe & Sharp Provolone, or the individual meatloafs in the hot foods counter of Bonellis. The only problem is that they wont deliver and its only an 8 hour flight! |
