They put the game I wanted to watch on the big screen. Different beer selection than you usually find, with a European emphasis.

We arrived for Canada night, and waited for someone to acknowledge us. When that didn't happen, we jammed ourselves into the bar to order.

We ordered two poutines and a beer ($25) then waited 30 minutes for 1 plate of fries with gravy and melted shredded cheese. Shredded cheese... Are you kidding me? Poutine has cheese curds on it. It's really simple and they charged us probably $8 for a plate of fries and shredded cheese.

The second plate was obviously not coming, so we enquired about it then decided to go. We were able to get two beers as a refund but as interns, we really have to choose what we spend our money on this was a huge disappointment.

Food:

I just went here with my wife and some friends for the first time. As a Belgian beer fan, this place is paradise! I also loved the decor and they have seating areas that really encourage you to converse with other patrons. We had a great time and with Happy Hour(s) running from 4-6pm everyday, it's hard to beat. Their fries are delicious, and I recommend getting one of each of the sausages they have (three total). It's a meal in itself.

Nice little east sac establishment. They have a nice assortment of European drafts on tap and bottle beers as well. It looked like they had pub food as well, but I didn't get a chance to sample. Nice, cozy place to have a beer.

Great neighborhood pub with excellent import bottle selection. Cozy atmosphere, and very authentic feeling English pub decor. Very easy to miss, because there is a tree covering their already tiny sign, but a great spot for a beer with friends.
