Bonsai Restaurant and Lounge is truly good for private parties during the week nights. You can have the place for your own gathering and have guests spread all over the place at three levels. Bert, the Manager helped us set up the PPT presentation on all the monitors with sound system. The pupus were like dinner - plentiful and flavorful and very presentable - kalbi beef, steak, chicken, fried calimari, rice, vegetables crudités, spring rolls, crab cakes, sushi. Bring your own sheet cake and cookies and you'll have a complete menu. Bartender and waiter were helpful, nice and hardworking - only two served 40 of us! We were well taken care of. I would hold parties and events here in the future and recommend it too. Free parking at Restaurant Row. I hope that Bonsai will continue to be in business and be there for us!
