SPICY! My boyfriend stayed in Indonesia and confirmed this was authentic Indonesian food. It fills to capacity, don't expect too much of the service, but the several dishes we had were excellent.

Named for a Javanese Buddhist temple, this Indonesian is a "captivating alternative" to other Nob Hill haunts thanks to "authentic" apps and soups and "amazingly generous" rijsttafel (rice-table dinners); it's "a good way to sample lots of traditional dishes", and if the setting is rather "modest", "moderate prices" and "friendly" servers convince most to "recommend it."
