As an "alternative" to the big chains, these coffeehouses offer "wonderful blends" plus "tasty" panini, "hearty soups", "excellent pastries", etc., all at "moderate" prices; what's more, the "cute, little" setting is "relaxing" "for catching up with friends, browsing the web or doing some homework."

Coffee was good although the service wasn't the best.. It was my First time visiting and I just wanted to know what good coffee options they had .. And she didn't have an answer for me I continued to ask questions but the staff and her seemed to be annoyed because I was taking to long. If she was a little more helpful it would of made it quicker..

BCC is a great local place. I like this branch because it is very comfy.

Ducked in to get out of the heat and are very happy with the iced lemonades.

Decent espresso, very good muffin tops and scones.
It took them an awful long time to prepare a latte for a gentleman in front of me.
In addition to that, they did not even ask me whether I want a receipt which is a bit weird.

Over all nice place with stable wifi though.

Boston Common Coffee is one of the only places where a simple sammy can take 15+ minutes to prepare and I only sort of mind. I mean, it bothers me a little bit, I won't lie about that, but if we rate quality of taste vs. amount of time willing to wait, I'd say 15 minutes is right on the money. Plus it's a good excuse to be late to work. Their sandwich with turkey and chipotle sauce is SUPER spicy, which is just how I like it, their coffee is always delicious, and on Valentines day they had cookies that said "swipe right" on them, because they're super hip and with the times.

All in all, if Boston Common Coffee put a little hustle in their step I'd give them 5 stars. Definitely would recommend to a friend (as long as they're not in a rush).
