This is a great local that is owned and managed -- for about 20day years -- by two sisters who are friendly and welcoming. Better yet, the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

I used to work in the neighborhood (also about 20 years ago) and loved the place. I happened to stop by today and was delighted to find the same two sisters -- and the deli -- still going strong. Check it out .... you won't be disappointed. And tell them Chuck sent you. :)

This is a great little place ... a hidden treasure, you almost don't want to share, but can't help it.

The staff is extremely friendly, and they always greet you with a hello and a smile! They're definitely a close knit group/family. One great reason to try it, and we haven't even talked about the food yet!

The Deli serves hot and cold dishes, and are happy to tweak a salad or sandwich to your liking. For those particular people out there -- like me!

I have to say, the Signature sandwiches are very tasty. Great combinations on a great selection of breads (your choice of Foccacia or "Iggy" brand bread, or whatever else you choose). The portions are large, and well worth the price, which runs about $5+ and $7+). The also have daily specials. For example, on Thursdays they offer "The Pilgrim" sandwich. (That's right, you guessed it -- turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc.!)

In addition to a nice selection of deli sandwiches and "Signature" sandwich combinations, they also serve meatballs, stuffed peppers, meatloaf, etc.

You can grab lunch on the go, or sit and relax. Th place is pretty cozy, too. It resembles an old time deli that really brings you back in time. Gotta love it!

We now place small and large lunch orders from Boston Deli Deluxe. It's that good.

Great location, too! Boston Deli Deluxes is located on South Street -- just minutes from South Station.
