This place is an OKC jewel. I have eaten there 5 times now with my wife and we both love it. Great tasting meats and fish with vegetables cooked to perfection. Everything served here is made fresh daily, never from a can. Pies, cakes and breads made from scratch. For an almost home cooked meal at a reasonable price, the Boulevard Cafeteria cannot be beat. The coconut merenge pie is fantastic!

Old school dining. Everything was really good. The veggies were a little over cooked. The dessert I had was amazing! Chocolate Pie was very chocolaty with real whipped cream. The corn bread is the best I've ever had. I wish they would update the interior :(

I ordered my Thanksgiving dinner thinking for $100.00 I would get a great ready to eat meal for my family. I SHOULD HAVE ASKED MORE QUESTIONS. What I got was a good about 12 lb. turkey, a pan of decent yet slightly dry dressing. 1 quart of gravy, a container with a CAN of canned cranberry sauce opened and dumped in it. Marks on the cranberry sauce and all. NO POTATOES NO Veggies, And a sack full of dried out old rolls. And 2 pies. They have changed their once wonderful pecan pie. It is now tiny pieces of chopped pecans rather than pecan haves and slightly burned on the top and crust. The other pie I choose was their famous Chess Pie. Which was very good, even though smaller than it was last year. This is the last time I ever depend on them again. I waited it pick it up at NOON thanksgiving when they said it would be hot. It was. BUT the doors were closed when I discovered the fact there were NO SIDE Dishes and I was not prepared to cook them. For $100.00 I think they should have thrown in a couple of quarts of potatoes and some green beans or something.

After I read Johns review I decided to get the Ice Box Pie to see if it had changed. It tasted the same as it always has to me. Very creamy texture a nice chocolaty taste topped with real whipped cream to top it off. I think John may have changed.
